We look forward to welcoming you to SANATIO SPA Japan. Please review the following policies to ensure a seamless and relaxing experience.



Reservation Policy

A valid credit card is required to secure all appointments.

No deposit or pre-charge will be applied at the time of booking.

Online booking requires a credit card solely to guarantee your reservation and to enforce our cancellation policy.

We do not accept online payments. All services must be paid in person at the spa.

(E-gift cards are accepted as a form of payment.)


Cancellation & Late Policy

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the scheduled service.
  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.
  • Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice may have their appointment automatically cancelled, and the cancellation fee may apply.
  • The cancellation policy also applies to appointments reserved with gift cards.

These policies allow us to honor the time of our therapists and other guests.


Store Policy

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes prior to your appointment time.
  • Gift cards must be presented at the time of redemption.
  • Our treatments are holistic spa services and are not performed by Registered Massage Therapists (RMT).
  • All services are non-refundable once completed.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you offer parking?

Yes. Complimentary valet parking is available at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel. Please inform valet that you are visiting SANATIO SPA Japan. Maximum 3 hours.

Q: May I use the hotel facilities?

Yes. After your treatment, you are welcome to enjoy the hotel’s facilities, including the outdoor pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, and shower rooms. Our staff will escort you.

Q: I am pregnant. Can I receive treatments?

Yes. We offer selected facial treatments and head massage suitable for pregnancy. Please inform us in advance so we may recommend the most appropriate service.

Q: I recently had Botox or fillers. Can I receive facial massage?

We recommend waiting at least 3–6 months before receiving facial massage. Please consult your physician for personalized advice.

Q: I have a gift card. Do I still need to provide a credit card when booking online?

Yes. A credit card is required to secure your appointment and is subject to our cancellation policy.

Q: Do you accept group bookings?

Yes, depending on availability. We have two treatment rooms and can accommodate up to three guests at one time. Larger groups may be scheduled in consecutive appointments.

Q: Can I claim my treatments through health insurance? Do you have an RMT?

No. Our therapists are not Registered Massage Therapists, and our services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
